So you’ve flipped through Bridal magazines, pinned and repined different looks but you’re still not sure what the right look is really for you? Although I love a classic neutral look for brides, a lot of times it doesn’t capture the brides personality so here are a few things to keep in mind.
First the type of makeup you wear every day; I have a friend who wears a bold liner every day so she would look weird if she skipped it on her wedding day. If you don’t wear any makeup but want to go bold for your big day? Take the element you like, say a smoky eye and turn it down a notch or two with softer colors so that it doesn’t overpower you. On that note, don’t be afraid to add color to your look but try to stay away from the trendy looks that will look dated in a few years.
Still at a lost, look at your dress, your hair and your makeup they should all complement each other. Look for pictures of dresses similar to yours, then look at the models hair and makeup, I’m sure they play off one another.
Don’t worry if you come to a consultation without a clear vision of how you want to look. A good artist work with you to find the style that suites not only your physical features but your personality and the wedding theme as well.
